Keep Calm And...

Hey guys!
So since my teachers have decided to be unusually cruel, and give us a ton of homework right now, I've been quite busy. I finished an essay for English last week (100! WOO WOO!) Then, we had to rewrite an ending to this book. Mine is done, but it needs some editing. Also, in Science we had to do a big project on some data we collected when the entire 8th grade went snowtubing. So I was working on that today, and I decided to add some AMAZING pictures of sesame street characters on each slide.

Let's just say it is pretty fantastic :)

But while I was looking for pictures, I came across this:

Jammin' + Flourless Cookies

Today, my brother has some friends over, and they are having a jam session. It sounds wicked cool, Charlie (my brother) is on his upright bass for the time being, and one guy is on drums w/ another on piano. Sounds super cool. 

It is suuuuuuper hot here, residing inside is the best option, unless your in the water. But I decided to make some cookies that I made last night, and by the time I woke up, they were all gone but one. So this time, I doubled the batch. They are a flourless chocolate chip cookie, and taste super good. I am posting the recipe below, I found it online. I ended up substituting half of the peanut butter for whole wheat flour (we had no regular flour) and they turned out great. If you are making them, use lots of chocolate, it makes it really good.  :)

LUCKY? OR NOT?????

So, since I started the blog today, and I am on a role, (this is my third post, gah), I decided to post one more thing about this interesting day. It is Friday the 13th (DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN). Just wanted to let the cyber world know, that strange occurrences today may lead to death. Just kidding.

On another related note, it is my uncle's birthday today, strange day for a birthday hunh?

A Note on Templates :P (And Boomer)

Well, I just ventured into the realm of templates and backgrounds on Blogger. Well. That was fun. (Sarcasm)
As I watched my brother pet his cat (Boomer, a nine year old orange cat that we recently got from the Animal Refuge League), I attempted to change my background of this blog. Well, it wasn't easy, but I figured out that I would just change the background every so often, just to have fun, and 'cause there are a ton of backgrounds.
Right now, the background has things that look like watermelons, and some fruit cut in half.... Interesting.....?

(Since it is summer, I don't have a laptop, so I am forced to divvy my blogging between my brother's laptop (Which I love to use) and are home computer, which is a bit slow and the I'm not used to typing on it. Oh well. Win some lose some.)

Hey all!
Before I start, let me tell you all that I don't blog consistently, I'll try to do it consistently, but you never know. This blog is just about me and my year. It is a couple of months past my birthday, so it won't be a total year (I'm ending on my birthday) but that is OK.
A few things concerning me, I love sugar, singing, acting, and being w/ friends. I play the piano (Which I love!) and the bassoon (Which I don't love that much.). My favorite color is blue, I love randomness, I'm outgoing and friendly, a die hard optimist, I love music, like Ben Folds 5, Cake, Adele, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sara Bareilles, (did I spell that right?), Jamie Cullum, The Cat Empire, John Mayer, I'll stop the list there. :)
I hope you have fun reading this, check often, comment, whatever. And remember, it probably won't be consistent, but that's OK.
